Scam artists are constantly looking for new ways to take advantage of unsuspecting victims. This can occur at your front door, over the phone, through the mail, online, or even in the parking lot of your favorite business. The Swatara Township Police Department would like to remind residents to stay vigilant against attempts by scam artists to collect your personal information, or entice you to send money to unfamiliar locations. If you have any question about the legitimacy of a phone call, hang up. Never give out any of your personal information over the phone or through an email.
