The Swatara Township Police, Swatara Fire & Rescue, and multiple local law enforcement agencies partnered with the Harrisburg Area Police Athletic League and Walmart for a "Shop with a Cop" event on December 14th. The event was very well-attended, and everyone had a great time! Kids were partnered with law enforcement officers to shop for family members. Each shopper was given a $100 gift card from Walmart to help purchase gifts... some of the officers dipped into their own pockets to help out, too. Thank you to HAPAL, Walmart, all of our volunteers, and everyone who came out to have fun!
