The Swatara Township Police Department will be participating in an Aggressive Driver Detail starting on March 23rd 2015.  This will be taking place throughout the township at various times.  During this detail officers will be focusing on distracted drivers, speed violations and infractions through work zones as well as any other aggressive driver violations.  The detail will run through May 3rd, 2015.

Drivers are reminded to look at their speedometers periodically to ensure they are traveling at a safe speed.  We would also like to remind drivers that texting while driving is illegal.  No text message is that important to risk your or your family’s lives.  Be safe out there!
