A seven year old boy named Atticus received quite the surprise over the weekend. With a love for German Shepherds and a dream of one day becoming a police officer, he received a surprise visit from Officer Scott Gibson and K-9 Kix on Sunday. The visit from Kix, however, was not the only surprise he got that day. Officer Gibson along with Cpl. Shawn Moore surprised Atticus with a German Shephard puppy of his own, named Zero! The puppy was a gift from Atticus' family. Our officers were so happy to be part of this surprise and we wish Atticus and his family years of happiness with Zero. Perhaps someday, Atticus, we will see you on the force! A special Thank You goes out to Atticus' family and Commissioner Connolly for arranging this special surprise for this deserving young man.
