Swatara Police Officers go "OVER THE EDGE" in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region.  

The Swatara Township Police is pleased to announce our support in the Big Brothers Big Sisters "Over the Edge" fundraising campaign 2021.  Per their website, the Capital Region chapter supports over 700 children annually.  Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks "to put children on the path to lifelong success and change the trajectories of their lives in positive ways."  They focus children on "educational achievement, avoidance of risky behaviors and provide higher self-esteem, confidence, and the ability to relate to others."

Today Lieutenants Tom Stauffer and Dennis Krahling rappelled 21 stories down the Fulton Bank building on 3rd Street in Harrisburg in support of this cause.
