The Swatara Police Department is teaming up with Texas Roadhouse again for a fundraising event involving our K-9 Unit.  This fundraising event is taking place tomorrow (9/3/20) from 3pm to 8pm at the Texas Roadhouse off of Union Deposit Road.  There is an attached flyer for this event that participants must bring with them either in paper form OR as a digital copy on their phone.  Simply show your waiter/waitress the flyer and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your bill back to the Swatara Police Department's K-9 Unit!  There is also an opportunity to meet K-9 JT and his handler Cpl. Bloss just outside of Texas Roadhouse from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm.  This is a great opportunity to sit down with your family and enjoy a great meal while helping out your local police department at the same time!  We want to thank the community for your continued support of our police department and all of the donations that have been made toward our K-9 Unit over the past three years.  Every dollar raised helps support the operating costs affiliated with the K-9 Unit.  Our K-9's are trained in patrol work and narcotics detection and assist our officers in various other capacities.  We hope to see you there!
