Swatara Township Police Department was planning to implement enhanced visibility patrols from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day to add additional protection for the increase in tourism and bicycle and pedestrian traffic in the Township. With the current emergency declaration and stay at home order we have decided to initiate the plan earlier.

** Swatara Officers when on patrol in neighborhoods and on stationary patrol will endeavor to have their "cruise lights" on to increase their visibility and to attempt to reassure the public that we are still here patrolling their neighborhoods. It is our hope during this crisis that this increased visibility will be comforting to the residents of Swatara Twp.
