Swatara Police support Autism Awareness
April is Autism Awareness month. To increase the awareness and acceptance of Autism, Officers of the Swatara Township Police Department will don their Autism Awareness badges during the month of April.
Members of the public can purchase the Autism Awareness badge (as well as the Breast Cancer Awareness and Military Appreciation patches) by completing the form located on the website and submitting it with payment to the Department. Each Badge Patch cost $5.00 each, with 100% of the money being donated to one of the three Awareness/Support organizations regarding their respective cause.
