Swatara Township Police welcome a new Officer.

On March 15, 2022 Kevin Porter was sworn in as a Swatara Township Police Officer, by Magisterial District Judge Smith.  Kevin graduated from the Steelton-Highspire High School and has a bachelors degree from Millersville University in social work.  Prior to joining the Swatara Township Police Department Kevin worked with at risk youth at Academies at Hamilton and Abraxas Youth and Family Services.  

Kevin will be attending the Police Academy after which time he will be assigned to A Platoon to serve the citizens of Swatara Township and Paxtang Borough.
