Thank you to everyone who came out for Swatara Township's Public Safety Labor Day Celebration Fireworks event this past Saturday.  A SPECIAL thank you goes out to the Lawnton Legion Post 998 for being the event sponsor.  Thank you to Giant Foods of Grayson Road for also being a sponsor.  This event could not have been possible without all of the assistance we received from the Swatara Township Parks and Rec Department, Swatara Township Highway Department, Swatara Township Fire Department, Life Team EMS, Swatara Township Fire Police and the Swatara Township Administration.  Lastly, we would like to thank our friends at Derry Township PD and the Hershey Entertainment Company for allowing us to utilize their portable lighting units to ensure a safe evening for everyone.  What a great way to close out the summer!  Stay tuned to our police department's website, Facebook page and the Swatara Township's website for future events.
