Swatara Township Police Officer Jason Lex received the Community Service Award from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1213 (Rutherford, Pa) this morning during their ceremony at Veterans Circle on 67th Street.  Officer Lex is a citizen soldier who also serves as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.  In Officer Lex's 15+ years with the Swatara Township Police Department he has deployed multiple times with the National Guard.   

We would like to thank Officer Lex and all veterans of this great country who selflessly served us in the Armed Forces of the United States.
