Swatara Township (Harrisburg, PA) is hosting a “Trunk-or-Treat” event on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the former Rainbow Hills Swim Club (4075 Swatara Drive). This will be a drive-thru event open to anyone who would like to participate! Come on by for some free candy and fun. The event will take place rain or shine. Swatara Township Police and Swatara Fire & Rescue will be in attendance to meet and greet families as they drive through.

Swatara Township’s annual “Trick-or-Treat” night will take place on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. rain or shine. We would like to remind everyone to be safe while Trick-or-Treating and follow the below tips:

• Avoid Trick-or-Treating alone; instead go with a group or with a trusted adult.
• Plan your route in advance.
• Use reflective tape, glow sticks or a flashlight to help yourself be visible and to see where you are walking.
• Make sure your costume is well-fitted (including your shoes) and avoid masks that do not allow you to see properly.
• Visit well-lit houses.
• Use sidewalks and crosswalks and check for traffic before crossing the road or driveways.
• Always let an adult check candy prior to eating anything.
