On August 19, 2025, at around 4:00 p.m., the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police responded to a reported stabbing incident in the parking lot of 4299 Union Deposit Rd. While en route, officers were informed that the suspect, later identified as Joshua Devaughn, had fled to a nearby gas station. Upon arrival, officers swiftly apprehended Devaughn and located the victim. An investigation revealed that Devaughn attempted to steal from the victim, who defended themselves, prompting Devaughn to pull out a knife and inflict a non-life-threatening arm injury. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Devaughn was taken to the Dauphin County Booking Center, where he was charged with attempted robbery and aggravated assault. Following arraignment by MDJ Zozos, Devaughn's bail was set at $100,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was remanded to Dauphin County Prison.
